Monsanto Videos

Over the past four or five years I have seen many of these videos die under pressure from some concern or another. Sometimes there are copyright infringements, other times the one who shared on YouTube and uploaded the video simply removes the video, and sometimes they simply make them passworded so only those with personal invites can view them. During this re-make of the web site so far I have had to remove four videos that are no longer available, and over the past few years I have had to removed dozens (and scour the internet to find out where they have been moved to new accounts so I could replace those that could still be found).

You will note that at least three videos on this page have been removed as of this writing (Wed, Oct 6, 2010) due to a French firm’s copyright claim. This is indeed unfortunate, but understandable as they are likely selling the video series and produced it to make money.

This last video has gone to the point of having to say that it is for “entertainment” purposes only out of fear of law suits and prosecution simply for providing others with the facts. It is absurd that disclaimers such as this have to be made by good people doing the right thing while mega corporations producing GMOs, with the blessings of the FDA, do not even have to divulge what products sold on supermarket shelves and elsewhere contain Genetically Modified Organisms.

I hope to replace the removed video’s on this page in the future if I can find them. I’ll leave the removed ones above as a reminder to us all just how important accurate information is to all of us – and to remind us all how through the willful and malicious destruction of knowledge entire civilizations have been ruined before.
